Doctoral candidate presents at Allianz Re

Environment and Society doctoral candidate Vikas Lakhani (Geography) participated in a workshop organized by Allianz Re's Natural Catastrophes Management group on February 5, 2016. Vikas presented with fellow LMU doctoral candidate Sahar Zavareh (Geography) on "Disaster Recovery, Learning and Forgetting in Comparative Perspective."
Lakhani and Zavareh are supervised by Prof. Dr. Gordon Winder (LMU Geography). Lakhani is also a member of the Climates of Memory working group (with Eveline de Smalen) of the Environmental Humanities for a Concerned Europe Marie Curie ITN.
