Sebastian Kistler studied philosophy at the Munich School of Philosophy and received his MA in 2006. In 2008, he earned his diploma in Catholic Theology at LMU Munich (Ludwigs-Maximilian-Universität). After completing his degree, he attended postgraduate courses in adult education, basic research in the social sciences, and in sustainable development cooperation. Since 2008, he has been working as a research associate in the department of theology at LMU. In 2010, he also began working as an assistant to the chair of social-ethics at the University of Augsburg, Germany.
